I've gotten to the point where the sleeves are put onto waste yarn and the work on the main body of the coat begins. I was finally able to try it on (although the needles are shorter than the coat itself, so I can't *really* try it on without putting all the stitches on holders/yarn) and it seems to fit just fine. The yarn is soft and didn't bother me at all, even though I was wearing a tank top. Here are some pictures:
There is some color pooling, but I think it's inevitable with the width of the coat changing due to increases and decreases. Hopefully the pools will be evenly dispersed over the entire coat.
